The Island of Lanai Hawaii
Lanai Hawaii is the sixth largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Located across the Auau Channel from Maui it has a small population of under 3000. Once known as the Pineapple Island
it has changed greatly since the 1980's by the work of David Murdock.
Murdock worked to maintain as much of the islands untouched landscape while building two world class resorts. Each resort has it own golf course that blends into the countryside. Each of these resorts while secluded from the rest of Hawaii offer services that with match anything found in the islands.
Limited access to the island has not only protected the natural
feel of the island but has provided almost private playground
for those who take the short ferry ride from Maui.
